Project Vision Are Working With The UK Biocentre In The Fight Against Covid-19

Rolling out a Guest Wireless Network

The implementation of a successful guest wireless network takes careful planning. In this eBook we highlight the 4 key considerations before selecting a guest wireless network solution for your specific requirements.

Brand New Network System for UK Biocentre.

During these, what can only be described as unprecedented times, it is important that now more than ever we all work together to help and support others to stop the spread of COVID-19.

We at Project Vision are very happy to announce that we have been selected by UK Biocentre, who are one of three Lighthouse Labs (the biggest network of diagnostic testing facilities our country has ever seen), to help them repurpose and significantly expand their existing testing and analysis operations to assist with the Coronavirus pandemic.

We have supported the UK Biocentre by custom designing and implementing a new network system based around their needs and requirements for a more secure and reliable network, to accommodate many new workers and greater usage of internal systems.

With the Biocentre holding sensitive data and employing 150 staff working 12-hour shift patterns, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the network security at the Biocentre is an essential consideration when setting up a network which is being used continuously. That is why we are installing an up to date cloud-manageable security system to ensure fast, easy to manage and secure networks all round.

Maintaining a strong and secure cloud-based security system, would not be possible without top quality cabling systems being put in place. We will be reconfiguring the existing cabling within the server room and throughout to accommodate for more usage and technologies as the UK Biocentre expand to support the fight against this virus.

The hard work being done at the UK Biocentre to help keep us safe is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week job, which is why us at Project Vision will be designing, building and installing these high quality systems without interrupting a huge 24/7 operation.

We will continue to support the UK Biocentre throughout this fight and will continue to play our part in keeping lives safe.
